Titebond, a leading name in wood glues, is unveiling a new jet-black version of its Instant Bond line of CA (cyanoacrylate) adhesives at IWF 2024 in booth #C2726.
Instant Bond Medium – Jet Black joins an existing Instant Bond line of clear-setting adhesives in four viscosities: thin, medium, thick and gel. The Jet Black version is medium viscosity.
As Titebond’s first formulation to set in a glossy black, the new Instant Bond formulation opens more options for aesthetics in woodworking, crafting and home projects. It is ideal for use with inlays, spalted wood and for accentuating details in woodworking projects.
Titebond also has formulated the jet black version to offer longer working time of approximately 40 to 60 seconds (compared to other cyanoacrylates) to allow for precise positioning of project pieces. Woodworkers can cut set time in half using Instant Bond Accelerator.
Like its clear-setting counterparts, Instant Bond Medium – Jet Black is impact resistant and ideal for hiding imperfections, repairing cracks and filling knots and voids in wood.
