Titebond Instant Bond Certified for Sale in Canada

Titebond has repackaged its Instant Bond line of ethyl-cyanoacrylate-based adhesives specifically for the Canadian market. The adhesives comply with Canadian requirements for packaging with a child-resistant cap and feature bilingual labels, in English and French.

Titebond is taking its line of popular Instant Bond multi-surface adhesives to Canada.

Titebond has repackaged its Instant Bond line – initially launched into the U.S. market – specifically to meet Canadian requirements for child-resistant caps. The packaging is certified to meet CCCR 2001 Section 9(b), which references U.S. 16 CFR 1700.20 regarding the caps and, thus, is certified for sale in Canada.

The repackaging for the Canadian line also features bilingual labels, in English and French. The line includes four viscosities – thin, medium, thick and gel – sold in 2-oz. bottles, plus 5.5-oz. bottles of Accelerator to quicken cure time.

Instant Bond is a superior ethyl-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive used for woodworking, craft projects and home repairs. It bonds just about anything – fast! Depending on the viscosity, it sets in three to 20 seconds and cures in 30 to 60 seconds. Users can speed up even those quick cure times by spraying the Accelerator on one of the two surfaces to be bonded. With or without the Accelerator, Instant Bond eliminates the needs for clamps.

Instant Bond provides a strong, impact-resistant bond on almost any material: wood, glass, stone, steel, rubber, acrylic, ceramic, PVC and more. It is triple distilled for purity and offers a two-year shelf. The non-clogging design also ensures smooth, efficient application.

Titebond Instant Bond will be available through cabinet shop distributors as well as  specialty woodworking stores. It is among a broad line of Titebond wood glues and construction adhesives and sealants available in North America and across the globe. More information on these products is available at www.titebond.com.
