Titebond Develops an All-In-One Solution for Installing Many Different Types of PVC Trim, Moulding and Beadboard

Titebond Ultimate PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant is a one-component, advanced polymer product that bonds and seals a wide variety of PVC trim, moulding, deck railing and beadboard components to virtually any material. Contractors can apply it in extreme weather conditions and achieve both a flexible, durable bond and weather-tight seal.

Contractors no longer need to haul several different products to the job site when installing PVC trim, moulding and beadboard; now, they can rely on a single, all-in-one formulation, Titebond Ultimate PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant, to bond and seal many varieties of these components, to virtually any material.

PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant is an advanced polymer formulation that offers contractors maximum versatility and convenience. The premium technology provides greater flexibility than other construction adhesives that are polyurethane, latex or solvent based. The increased flexibility allows the adhesive to expand and contract with the PVC, decreasing the risk of product failure and callbacks.

PVC, a commonly used synthetic plastic polymer, is more flexible than wood and calls for an adhesive that will work with, not against, it. The increased flexibility also enables the product to function as a premium sealant, with 50% joint movement capability and superior weather resistance.

This advanced product bonds PVC to wood, masonry, aluminum, stainless steel, vinyl, fiber-cement siding/trim and most other building materials. Contractors can apply it even in extreme weather conditions, down to 0°F (-17.78°C), and can count on a flexible, durable bond and weather-tight seal. Further, it gives them 10 to 20 minutes to adhere the PVC components and a low VOC content of only 9 g/L (<2% wt.), which ensures it is safe for the user and the environment.

PVC Trim Adhesive and Sealant joins a broad line of Titebond construction products developed first and foremost for professional use. These products meet the most rigorous demands for ease of use and superior performance. It exceeds ASTM specification C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 50, Use NT, M, G and A.

Titebond’s newest construction adhesive is available in 10.1-oz. cartridges and is white to match the color of PVC trim products. It can be purchased at building supply stores and wherever Titebond products are sold. More information on this and other Titebond products is available at www.Titebond.com.
