Application Temperature Range: 0°F to 100°F

Service Temperature Range: -20°F to 120°F

Pro Tips:
  • Surfaces must be clean and free of any materials that could hinder proper adhesion, such as dust, dirt, standing water, or frost.
  • For larger applications, bracing may be necessary until the adhesive has fully dried.
  • When working on subfloor projects, apply the adhesive to the joists one sheet at a time.
  • To extend the working time, apply the adhesive in a round bead by cutting the nozzle straight across rather than at an angle.

  • It is recommended to wear gloves while using adhesive, as it can be difficult to remove from skin and clothing.
  • Lightly mist the materials with water to achieve a faster cure rate, but be sure to remove any standing water or frost before application.  
  • This adhesive meets the highest industry subfloor specifications, ASTM D3498-19, Class 1/8 inch, Type P/O subfloor adhesive.

  • Surfaces must be clean and free of any materials that could hinder proper adhesion, such as dust, dirt, standing water, or frost.
  • You can paint over the sealant one hour after application with high-quality acrylic, water or latex-based paint*.
  • Store unused sealant in a dry location at or below 75°F (27°C).
  • Use a backer rod to prevent three-sided adhesion, a common cause of joint failures.
